anyone worth their salt will know Cinqs don't have rear discs
Who mentioned discs?! Damn, now I have something else on my already overflowing shopping list. *Thinks to self 'what can I rob discs off for me Cinq...'*

You know when you've been Tango'd

Some more pics - still haven't finished the lights, but I got a pair of MkII Punto side repeaters which I am going to use in front. The Tricker 40mm TB is on - I'm well impressed. The rear arches were rolled to reduce the scraping and banging on bumps - the current 60 series tyres are too big and my 15mm spacers are too wide so it still bangs occasionally.

FiatForum sticker is up - thanks Gaz.

All will be revealed once car is back in a few weeks. THERESA

Sorry, I knew this but somehow still typed "he".

I'll await a big member motors thread with lots of pics then!

it all looks nice but i`ll have to agree with the above because the spoiler looks wrong. but hey if you like it, keep it :)

nooo... spoiler looks stupid attatched to the roof and not the boot.. redo it and smooth it onto the boot
Spoiler is classy - you are so wrong. You are just used to seeing the usual version on the rear hatch, it will grow on you. Lets see if anyone copies it!? The guy who painted it says it looks like a 'shopping trolley on steroids' (Hi Vincent *waves*) Its also a pity but you can't see the twin 3" centre exit noisy-pipe sticking out the back. I 'blued' it with a blowtorch for that 'Jap tuned' look but, erm, bodged it so I need to clean it and start again.

I agree with you completely...If youre gonna go small and silly, go the whole way, no half effort! Thats why I need my mecanno kit Wing back!!

I'm afraid I don't like the lights or the spoiler... Sorry :( Might look better blended in on the boot, but it's too big in my opinion. The headlights seem too spaced out, just not my style.

The lights look fookin ace how hard were they to do as i may do a set if you wouldnt mind me lending your idea;), not too keen on the spoiler at all the but the car over all is mint makes mine look standard now:(

Cheers Wayne, copy whatever ideas you like - the lights were very easy but took about five hours to get them fitted, wired and aligned. I got these from a scrap yard having destroyed a set from a 520i trying to get them to fit. The adjusters have to be mounted on a plate (I welded one to the rear of the 'arch' where the stock headlamp fits). I still need to make a plastic lamp surround but I should get time for that later this week. I settled on the twin headlamp idea after I realised my badboy bonnet was cutting out most of the light from my original headlamps...

As for the spoiler, the car was built on a budget of less than £1,500 and I didn't have the money for a carbon wing and got fed up emailing Joy Tuning to buy a normal tailgate spoiler (if you are reading this Joy Tuning, you are Vorsprung Durch USELESS). That spoiler off a Pug 405 cost €20!!

As for the look of the car, its all a matter of taste - this is my second Cinq and I will keep tuning it until it goes 'BANG' and then I will get another one and start again...

I need to point out that the Tricker TB mod is a must-have. This car pulls like a JATO rocket since I fitted it, top marks to the Insane Dane!!

@RobW - (Rob Whitney?) Glad you like it - not in clubcento due to cost/lack of activity this side of the country, only two or three modified cinqs/seis for a hundred mile radius (and I have two of them). 1969 Mini 1275 awaiting rebuild, X1/9 on blocks under bedroom window, attic being used as spray booth/prep area, carbs and starter motors in kitchen cupboards... If I get time and I have any money, I would love to take Skanger Banger to a UK show later in the year - will need to get my furry dice fluffed up first though.
Dave.
Dave - we do have an Irish Clubcento Officer who is trying to recruit more troops over there so there can be Irish club events which he's said he'd be happy to organise - we just need the members now - members create more members (y)
