ORANGE / SIM rejected *Help*

Hello!

I input my pin code and it's wrong, it says SIM REJECTED. Any idea what to do? Do I ring ORANGE to get it re-set? Anyone else done this.

Has the phone asked you for a PUK or PUK2 code at all?

Try taking SIM out and reinserting it, you never know

Otherwise look at orange website, see if you can get codes from them. I know I would do that, even though I am on O2.

Hi ya!

The phone has asked for the PUK code and the PIN code. But no luck

Tried taking the sim out and all. No luck there.

Can't find anything on the website. :-S

Hmmm, nice choice of words

You need to get the PUK code then from Orange - ring up customer services then, if you are not a registered website user.

I had to do the same with mine once, the puk code will unlock it for you. Do as the Demon says and give customer services a bell.

ust dont test the Puk code 10 times trying to guess it or you'll be blocked out forever

Lol yes, when i had my first fone i didnt realise i'd put my pin in wrong 3 times and wasnt reading the screan so continued to try and guess my pin.

I wont tell you the rest

If the PUK is entered incorrectly 10 times, it permanently locks the sim card. You'll need to contact orange for a replacement

But i had to buy a new one

On the slightly more successful side I have needed a PUK code from O2 before, phoned them up and they were very helpful and phone was unblocked within 5 mins. Since then my pin has been set to the old O2 default so I haven't risked trying one of my own since
