What stu meant is that in the sub forum where the thread is located, under the THREAD title is the User Name of the OP. problem solved 
Maybe the solution is to have 2 different color schemes. This for the ones who can use it and a lo-res for the rest

yeah bring back old skin, i cold see it then. some dont need it but when you are trying to help out the op and thread gets loads of others posting in it some times its hard to work out if op has fixed their problem or is asking for more help
just my thought on this, the OP post colour is to similar to the Quote box colour.. Sometimes when scrolling quick it tricks my eyes into thinking quotes are OP posts.
how about colouring the back ground of the OPs posts too?

Haha - on my monitor the quote is already orange and the OP post yellow
Not helpful I know, but I'd noticed the seemingly random colour coding of some posts before and never realised what it was.
Now I know - I feel enlightened (and able to see it quite easily)
