Its taken me about 5 hours to fit a flipping powercap and uprate the power & ground to my amps to 4 guage wire.

Didnt even get time to do my sound deadening before it went dark

And DONT buy autoleads terminals to crimp onto wiring. at £5 a pair from halfrauds, you'll also go through untold sets of crimpers (i managed to snap 2 pairs  ). So in the end i had to use a vice so squish it flat then solder them on. My advise is to get shark audio ones from maplins - 1.50 a pair i think and they crimp lovely (y) PLUS they dont break your crimpers in teh process :D

Just thought i'd share my experience... I would have had pics but was too dark for the pics to come out properly on my phone :)

I can vouch for that coz the halford stuff is crap. the connections they make even wide enough for 8 gauge wiring. And yeah ive bent around 2 pairs of decent crimpers. I didnt say anything coz i thought it was me.

What cap u got?

 8 guage would easily fit in the connections for 4 guage, the smaller the number the bigger :)

I've got a QX Connect 1 farad powercap with a digital blue voltage display.

And its a buggar about the crimps. I've not gotta explain to my dad how i managed to break his pair as well as my own
