General omega rear axle??

Well. it's more or less that shape, as opposed to a traditional beam axle.

ISTR the watch people took exception to the naming at one point.

Its supposed to flex enough to allow some independent rear wheel movement. Its also partly a pair of trailing arms and a sort of anti-roll bar. If i remember the blurb right the buckets for the coil springs are welded on in such a way as to reduce toe in or out under hard cornering. Hard working little beam
 
does any 1 have a spare omega rear axle as ive bent mine by hitting curb even done me alloy in,its my daily runner and iam off the road till i get new axle , please can any1 help me????

I've got one in my spares car. If you're interested I'd need your old one so that I had something to wheel it to the scrap man on though :).

Spares car is currently in Melksham, Wilts.
