I like them..on silver/red/black/yellow b..
I agree. I have a green B and they will not look good. But I have seen them on the Silver B and think it looks great.
A friend of mine is a car designer and says Chrome look on lights are on the out. But I like less detail and think silver on silver looks great and updates that colour car. Google search silver B's and see if you can see one. I saw that advert and that's a cracking price as Fist only sell the complete unit for silver @ £329 each.
