Hi all I was a member of this forum many years ago when I had my fiat 131 and my fiat X1/9, unfortunately I no longer have these cars , I have been running fiat puntos for the last 18 years from the mk1 right up to my present car which is fiat grande punto 2016 which I bought in July 2018 with 11500 miles on the clock, great car never let me down but it will be replaced in the new year with a 500X hopefully .

Well welcome back. It sounds like you are a real Fiat fan which is great. I friend near me has a 500X 1.4 and loves it.

Hi there and thank you, I love the punto and if there was a newer version I would be keeping with it but sadly not, so it’s the 500X for me , I have read to steer clear of the early 1.6 500X,

Have look on the 500x forum and you will get a good flavour of the issues. I came so close to buying a 2.0D Auto 4x4 but got spooked by its fuel consumption. I bought aPanda 4x4 and the rest is history. Im hooked.

Welcome back. I have 2 puntos at the moment, they're fine, and certainly cheap, but i'm thinking of getting a 500 L.

Yes I will thanks, the panda I have looked at but not sure, keeping my options open, I remember having a very early panda , early 90s white with fold back roof , such great fun I loved it, it was a simple car but great fun
