Hi,

I have the original Blaupunkt stereo that came with my 2010 Panda; I like it.

I looked at on this forum and other forums to see the possibility of installing an aux-in.
It seems that by buying one of the devices below that it may be possible.
But, all the stereos that I read about seem to be later models,( MP3 models).
There is space at the back of mine to fit this blue block, but there is not an aux in the menu; some posts suggested that this device could trick the stereo into thinking that it was the cd player.

I am doubtful that this could work, but would be very happy if it did.

Does anybody know, or have an alternative way to do an aux-in on this stereo.

Many Thanks

Steven

If you press the source button does the option of AUX come up? I’m pretty sure on the double din unit to have a working AUX input you had to have that option pop up on the display when you pressed the CD source button

Hi,
There is no Aux option in the source menu.
I was just hoping that there may be a workaround.

Thanks for the advice.

Oh, I have just found that there is a whole section of the Forum devoted to ICE, (in car entertainment ?) . . .

I will start trawling through these .

Something like this may work I have a older type and it works with
my I-phone, it transmits from the phone to the radio on a free channel
of the FM band.
Amazon product ASIN B07N767T35
I just tried this.
It took about 30 seconds.
Absolutely fantastic.

Thanks for both of you for your input .

I use one of these too on my original cassette radio to play music from my phone.

Works fine most of the time, occasional interference, and thanks to FIAT's odd lighter sockets, enthusiastic driving on bumpy roads can cause it to jump out and disconnect!
