ok this is nutts......bravo 1.2 turbo!!!!!!!

ok, iv got a Fiat bravo 80sx!!!
its slow and a bit boring and i want a faster car!!
so i was thinking about trading it in for maybe a 1.8 bravo, as i do like them, and insurance is reasonable!!
etc, etc!!

except, i was chatting to this bloke with a punto sporting, new one, with the same engine as mine obviously, and he said Fait would fit a turbo to this car, for apparently £1600, which would give it 135bhp, wow, that would be turing my little car into a hothatch!! i mean it only weighs 1000 kilo's!! im assuming that the turbo would be off the old Punto Turbo!!!???!!!
anyone know any info on this? heard about it b4?
i mean i would probably be cheaper that swaping it for a HGT at the same sort of age!!

Hmmmmm

The Punto Turbo was a 1.4 as yours is a 1.2 I am unsure if the exhaust manifolds are the same, but this does not mean it cannot be done. Would be very interesting. I would sound out some insurance companies before you do it.
Also don't forget to uprate the suspension and especially the brakes before you do it.
And 135BHP out of a 1.2 is a little excessive I would have thought it would be more like 110-120.
The Punto only put out I think 120ish and that was a 1.4. I'm not saying it can't put that much out. My old Uno Turbo was tweaked and put out approx 150.
I would look into the possibility of swapping your car out for a Punto Turbo. could be easier in the long time
