wired them up

no worky

attached them direct to the battery they work

back on the fog light wires - no worky



what ya think - fuse blown?

if so which fuse is it?

Honestly don't know, can't find a reference in the cinq manual and don't have a sei one.

Check the fuse box to see if any have popped.

Sometimes problems are easier to fix in the flesh than via email!!

Are they designed to work with the main lighting on dipped beam, not independently ?? - a bit like the rear fog light(s).

yeah minimum side lights on, but they were , i had a looksie thru the fuses last night, but couldn't see any that were obviously blown, any harm in removing them one by one?

I wouldn't have thought there'd be a problem, provided that:

you don't have anything major powered up when you pull its fuse.

you've got the code for your radio - D'oh!

your ECU just does a reset to default mode on removing the power for more than x seconds.

well with a slightly clearer head than last night a 2am and a bit more awake than i was at 9am, i had a brainwave and looked at the back of the fusebox cover, which of course shows what fuses are for what, and low and behold no.19 a 15amp fuse is blown,

oh well another trip to halfords then.
