How much does it cost to get a leaking sump replaced?

1.5-2 hours labour.
£40-100 for the sump depending which model (HGT is more like £180-200).
£5 manifold gasket
£5 sealer

do what i did, pop down to your local halford and buy gungum exhaust putty, warm the sump up by driving about for a bit, then cover the sump in the putty, leave for about an hour then drive about for 10mins to harden then putty. ive had my car for 3months now, its came with a hole in the sump which would go through a litre a day. havent had any problems since doing this, cheap way to fix, if you havent got much cash

It's worth doing properly regardless. If it goes and you spill oil all over the road it's dangerous for other road users and your car's engine.
