General Oil problem?

I know this may seem a little thick butt i havnt owned a car before. Ive looked in my manual that i got with the car and it doesnt tell you what grade oil i should use in my seicento and i was wondering if someone could help me as its a little low just too top up?

10/40 or 15/40 multigrade. Any decent make should be fine. Be careful not to overfill it: let the car stand for 5 minutes and add a bit at a time before wiping the dipstick and trying again.
