Arnold Clark's software cannot reset the timer. They have tried and failed many times.

what 'software' do they use

No Idea I'll try and ask them but when I go in I doubt they will tell me because I'll be unable not to use an awful lot of expletives when I tell them how dangerous their "servicing" is.

Is it a Fiat garage dealership

No a multi branch car sales company with huge sites and enormous quantity of cars. mega car supermarket type thing no specialisation..

I went to a reputable garage in Reading for an oil change and after the third attempt they still couldn't turn off the 'change engine oil' warning that kept coming up; guess they didnt have the proper software ? However, although this phenomenon beset my car every six months, I haven't encountered it since December 2010, when the last oil change was done by a more local garage, who seemed to know what they are doing!
