Delta HF Turbo mate. 
Last I heard the n/s rear wheel arch has disappeared in that wonderful way they always do with 15 year old Lancias; the dreaded car cancer. He'd bought enough Lancia Yellow to have another bare metal respray done and when they came to start on it they discovered a patch of rot round the suspension leg.
Oh well, he thinks. Coupla hundred more so carries on. When they come to weld it up they find there is nothing to weld onto!
So, as well as a new wheel bearing (that's what was causing the rear wheel to wobble and most of the rumble), all bushes replacing (that was the squeaking - sounded worse than that quad bike on saturday) he's now got a serious amount of welding to do/pay for.
Still, should all be done by the Autumn Auto-Italia at Brooklands so hopefully you'll see the results.
