Technical Oh heck. No cranking when turning ignition key to start position.

Why didn't it fire when towed though?

It’s a fine question. AA man said some cars need the key turned to start position even when bumping to initiate part of starting process. First time I’ve heard that, not sure if it applies here.

I know you need Revs, (to get fuel pressure)

My mj with the starter issue could RollStart from parking spaces..

But at 2007, obviously years older than yours

No. Cranked fine as soon as starter given a tap. Started fine before I did the EGR work, and started fine since too.

Although I did try with it hooked up to another running car showing over 14v, made no difference.
