Oh right, I know the owner of that place.

I've only ever seen your car around once or twice, does it have a slight bodykit? I seem to remember something about the front splitter.

Yeh

A full carcept kit!

But your right - because of the colour wheels and style of what i have done so far it does look a lot more - Proper! (lol)

Im not going for insane just italian - Momo italy etc!

Kev

Re: Yeh

I thought it looked quite nice, I can't understand people who buy the car just to make it look totally different, why do they think they can disign a car better than the pro's?

thats not what its about though

From a mutual point of view i wouldnt mind a non or kitted up bravo, but i do understand why people do it!

What i have in my car is not only a passion but a project - much like toms kit cars but not to the same extent!

I myself would find it difficult to do what my dad did on cars and just - buy fiddle fix use! Because of circumstances nowadays - you cant even leave a car outside on my drive if its not a P reg or newer cuz the neibours would complain!

So i have a 'maxed' if thats what you could call it car! But i only want to improve on the aspects of the car that would please my own oppinions! Such as those lil dents in the rear bumper - i personally think they let the car down - but thats oppinion!

As well as the fact im quite attached to what ive done so far! So it may be a keeper! lol

Its not about being 'better than the manufacturers - cuz we aint makin these shocks etc ourselfs - and we all forget that cars are made to a budget - and if we choose rather to buy a budget car and make it better rather than buying a nicer car, thats choice!

But yes these things are all massivly over priced and over sold - and the industry is BOOMING due to a recent rise in 'image' and poularity. but there have always been people who maxed motors. Just not so many of em!

Re: thats not what its about though

I don't object to improving a cars performance (lowering/stiffening/tuning) but I just don't think the big bodykits and shiny alloys just for showing off are in very good taste. I chose an HGT for the understated performance it offers (and how cheep they are, bang/buck and all that). But as i've said before as long as you guys are enjoying your cars that's fine, my opinion is no more valid than anyone elses after all.

Here here

And let that be the general concencus on the forum!!!

Your opinion is no better than anyone elses.
(meant in a general sense not aimed at you mate)

But dont u think how petty this all gets sometimes.

We need some christmas spirit(Aswell as a rifle)!

Ie never actually been in any other bravo but mine - but if i decide to keep this for 10 yrs or so its gunna have a revamp!
