Thanks for the reply, just bought the Ducato, so don't know if it worked previously! Tried 3 different code readers, which work on other vehicles (one is snap on) all show power to the obd2 port, I even pulled F36 and power went off, but all readers say unable to make connection?
I had the amber triangle warning light come on, that's why I tried the port!, all turns out it was one number plate bulb, no lights on now, but want to get it working for future reference!!Ok, so lets ask the most obvious question. What issue are you trying to troubleshoot? Maybe it's part of the reason the why OBD2 readers aren't pulling any codes.

If the van is pre-owned, just wondering if it might have some sort of OBD blocker fitted. Did the keys come with any sort of card, tag or dongle attached that you don't know what it's for?
OK thank for the update. You either have a wiring / connector issue or a ECU failure. Wiring or connector is most likely. First visully inspext the OBD port and make sure there are no missing, bent or pushed back pins. Pins 6 & 14 (CAN) and 7 & 15 (KL) are the important ones. Also check for a ground on pins 4 and 5. If this is all OK you next need to check the wires between 6/14 and the ECU(s). Ideally you need the wiring diagrams to do this. If you don't have the diagrams, check for no connection to ground (>500 ohms) on each pin and a resistance between the pins of 50 to 200 ohms. This is not a 100% check as some ECUs use DC blocked terminators. Obviously do a visual check of connectors etc, but you really need the wiring info as CAN wiring is not obvious or simple and often has junction or test connectors thet can cause issues.

Haven't checked the under bonnet fuses yet (raining at the mo) wiring checks out, when you say reboot body comp could you enlighten me? Disconnect battery???Hi first check volt pin 16 should have 12v Euro 5 don’t have ignition feed pin 1 so forget that, pin 6 can high pin 14 can low what voltage you got on them pin 4 earth if them ok reboot body comp by disconnecting 2 main power plugs on comp for minute Wouldn’t hurt to check fuses in engine fuse box too I have had this prob before had to restore vehicle configuration but you wont have that option
No, I just got the master (remote) key & a plain non remote key. There's one thing that I haven't seen before is the obd port has reconnect if removed on the black cover that plugs into the obd port?
