Most of us use MultiEcuScan (MES), check the list below to see if your vehicle is covered by it:

If you have budget constraints you could consider cheapies sold through Geek or AliExpress. I bought two (in case one wouldn't work or didn't arrive quick enough) and both seem to work fine. I was able to locate a lambda sensor issue on my Mulitpla using the Torque app from Google Play.
