Technical OBD fault code

Any idea what the following OBD fails code means: POOFF

I read that " OBD2 Diagnostic Trouble Code P00FF means that Body Control Module Requested MIL Illumination has been detected."
Also "The car is telling itself to turn on the check engine light. There is something else that is causing this. This code by itself is not really a defect code."
