Fiat Ducato 2.3 130 (2019, Euro 6) – fault code P213A

The vehicle shows fault code P213A. I have already replaced the EGR valve, the low-pressure EGR, the mass airflow sensor, and the MAP sensor. The ECU has also been swapped, but the issue remains unchanged.

The fault appears irregularly — sometimes after 6 km, sometimes after 100 km, and sometimes after 1000 km. When the fault occurs, the engine loses power.

After the vehicle sits for a few hours, upon starting the engine it does not respond to the accelerator pedal. After some time, it starts responding normally, revs up, and drives fine until the issue happens again.

Hi @Rowerek The fault code points to a mechanical issue with the LPEGR valve being stuck open. But you say you have replaced the LPEGR valve, yet the fault still remains. There is also an intermittent lack of response to the accelerator pedal. You may have two faults here. Or perhaps one causing another. It would be worth checking the response of the pedal potentiometers and associated wiring to the ECU. The easiest way to do this is with MES. You can easily log the potentiometers. It may also be helpful to log a wide group of engine parameters with MES to see if you can pick up the issue with live data recording. The following information refers mainly to help diagnose a blocking LPEGR cooler, but it would be a good starting point for your issue. https://www.fiatforum.com/guides/re...ines-for-blocking-lpegr-cooler-diagnosis.991/

Hi, thank you for the quick reply. I will pass this on to my mechanic. I would also like to add that I previously replaced the DPF with a new one, as well as all the injectors and the lambda sensor.
