I have just received my upgrade from o2 and its their xda something or other hand held pc thing me bob with sat nav!

I'm just wondering if any of oyu know whether i will be charged for connecting to the internet via wifi on my phone to my router? I was told there is a charge for £3 per mb of downloads but i would have thought this would only be if i used the wap?? I have tried to call the customer services to find out but as ever they are very very busy!!

thanks

You won't be charged for data if you use your own WiFi access at home as you are not using the network of your provider. It will just be like connecting via your laptop.

re

as above, as lone as your definately using the wifi not the wap/gprs/3g then you wont be charged, its just liek havign another pc on your network.

i use my o2 xda mini ( with the slide out qwerty keyboard) to chek email, nip on msn, much quicker then firing up the laptop!
