well, concentrating hard to write this, and I am just wondering what happened to my town or my country? I have just had a night on the beer, and its one hell of a sight:( Fat women wearing disgusting clothes, low cut jeans and thongs, which should be banned for anyone over weight or over forty, guys pissing in the street, broken bottels and glasses outside the pubs, fights all over the place, and wath makes it worse, is that mine is a fairy decent town. I have been on holiday all over the place, go to the med and its all the same, drunken tatoooed guys and women all throwing up, cause its just like home, and yet last month I went to san francisco, and I have also been to new york..........so lets take new york, full of people waiting to kill you or mug you right??? WRONG!!!!!!! I had a brilliant time, full of polite people, hardly saw a cop, never saw a fight, people bump into you and apologise!! you can go into a bar and run up the bill, and they expect and believ you will pay at the end of the night instead of doing a runner!! This counrty that I had loved, and served time in the army for is rapidy going down hill, thats if its not there already......I remember speaking to a barman in san francisco, and it was memorial weekend, and I asked him what that was all about, and he said its a weekend when we remember evryone who died to keep usa safe, so ok, you may laught, or snigger, but is it so frigging worng?? then I asked him what labour weekend was, and he said " thats when we celebrat all the working men who have made usa great.........again oyou can laugh, but look at britian, we cant even put OUR flag on our town halls cause it might upset some bastrd.....oops, sorry, to much beer:) dont get me wrong, maybe no country is paradise, but come retirement, I know where I would rather live:)

Just re read all this and seen all the typos, but to drunk and lazy to correct them...............lol

good man! i love beer. fly the english flag high and lets try and make britain great again!

i have to agree with u there. i admit to not being a racist, altho i believe that political correctness has gone too far in this country when we are banned for flying our own flag incase it upsets someone living here who is not of our own nationality. so wat if they arent? if they genuinely want to live here then they should respect our country, its traditions and everything that makes us great - if they feel they are being racially abused when they see the flag of the country they are living in then in my opinion they are here just to sponge off our generous government! sorry for turning it into a political argument, and yes i do feel embarrassed when i see the drunken antics of people in our streets, and of brits abroad.
ramble over
philip

Dont you think we are pissing against the wind???????
I am a brit, all my ancestors are brits, and I just feel so frigging sad about where we are.......**** the third world and live aid and the latest geldord idea........WE are slowly becoming the third world in our standards:((((((((

yea, its me agin.......lol...must be on a roll:) Just compare these two bars......went in one in new york, and smoking is banned in bars right? Well, I smoke, so I asked the barman what do I do, sh he said " leave your drink on the bar, with a dollar bill, to show you are coming back........I did this and it worked! No bugger stole my drink or my money.......compare it to my local, where all the chave take thre drinks into the toilet to stop some bugger pinching then!!

I remember that

Re: I remember that

i agree 100%, we need a leader to is interested in fixing this country not others, what will blair be remembered for? Iraq and cancelling world debt? looks like he got what he wanted, he's set up his retirement career for after dinner speaches around the world.

In my opinion we need someone who can change the attitude of the people in this country. Noone wants to better themselves, but then again, look at the system, **** about at school, get no qualifications, can't get a job. You get given somewhere to live, money for food, and from the people that live around me they have enough money for smoking, drinking every night, a car etc etc, have a few kids, get even more money, eventually get old and can't look after themselves, get looked after free until they go.

What's the alternative? work hard at school, go to college, parents pay to keep you plus you have to get a **** paid night job, go to uni, parents still help keep you plus you get a load of debt and probably a job as well. So you walk out of uni with a degree andaround £15k in debt, get a job, lose 22% in tax, 8% in NI plus whatever % in loan repayments, and what is left is supposed to house and feed you. You work hard, pay off the debt, buy a house, paying tax all the time, cant afford to smoke, cant afford to go out drinking very often. Eventually, when you get old, they take everything you've got to pay for your care. My grandad was paying £400 a week for his nursing care in a private home and in the room next door was someone who got it on the state, basically becasue they were lazy.

Really is no wonder people dont bother and take the easy route.

The woman that lives in the flat behind me has worked out that if she has a child every so many years she will have benefits until she retires, she already has 4 to different fathers. She doesn't pay the rent because she knows they won't evict a single mom, she doesn't pay her gas or electric bill as she knows they cannot cut her off. If it was down to me she would ahve a kick up the arse and made to work for her benefit, even if it's only while the kids are at school and picking up litter.

Re: I remember that

as regards the flags on public buildings, i don't think that that can really be blamed on the various nationalities that live here, ok there may be a few loud mouths who spout off about it, but i feel most people really wouldn't care if there was a flag on a building. I think the people to blame are all the do gooders who are that anti racist that they are actually racist against themselves. Rules like businesses must employ a certain percentage from a minority group is crazy, if your a true business man and want to do well in business then you will employ whoever is right for the job, regardless of nationality. Why are there so many foreign doctors? because of how they were brought up they are prepared to work long and hard to get to be a doctor. Westernised people on the whole are too lazy to do it.

Thankyou for my rant. lol

I must remember that beer and the net do not mix, lol:) Must be bad if wickford jay agrees with me:) Thank you to all who contributed to this thread:)

England has become a bit of a cess-pit.

Advertising has taken over everywhere. If you are willing to spend the dosh, a previously exclusive venue or part of town (with it's rules and traditions) is now suddenly open to tattoed and pierced chavs and chavettes.

England is going down the tubes, fast.
