Someone might know this one but then again someone might not. I've been farting around for yonks using microsoft frontpage to make web pages and upload them etc to my web site, when making a page in front page and using the option to view the code it gives me that but it seems basic, ie wheres the version of the code including the web site address etc so if i selected all that code and pasted it elsewhere the page would "magically" appear?

Specifically i'm trying to use it for ebay and make a page with pictures etc on my web site and make the ebay ad display it within the description so i save on picture costs etc. Ebay gives an option to enter my own html code but as i said copying it from frontpage does diddly squat.

What am i doing wrong or not doing?

Having never used front page, i may not be of much help, but try this...

Save your html file onto your PC, then open it with a text editor (notepad/wordpad), then see what text is there.

I used to use a web page designer similar to front page a few years ago and it used to hide on the code from the user, keeping it as simple to use as possible.

Thinking a bit more...

Or if that doesnt work.

Host your page as you usually do. Load it, then right click -> view source. All the code is listed there.

OP

Trying that gives this error in ebay

Your listing cannot contain javascript (".cookie", "cookie(", "replace(", IFRAME, META, or includes), cookies or base href.

:(

People do this in ebay all the time so neec to work this one out.

Found this web page explaining most of it, seems simple is the key.
