hey up can anyone tell me what the best graphics card as i`ve knackered my newish one in my pc so i`ll need to replace pretty soon, as i`ve only got one now, so the play back for dvd`s is really patchy when the screen is full size, i don`t want to spend loads of money on a graphics card but it needs to be decent none the less

also can anyone tell me what is lightscribe is when usin nero, i know its somethin to do with labellin cd`s, dvd`s but do i have to get special disks or can i use the blank cd/dvd`s i already have and does anyone know how to use it properly,

I'd personally get the nvidia 8600gts it is dx10 complaint. So future proof for now and extremely good value compared to the 8800's.

Light scribe is where the laser burns an image onto a special light scribe disc. You need a light scribe writer aswell.

Cheers Joske, i have the writer but none of the special disks, looks like i`ll have to buy some,

any idea how much the grahics card will cost as i`ve had a look on scan website and they range from diffferent prices

Yeah they do vary in price, depends on what want. Do you want high definition through it or not, do you want video in video out, do you want it primarily for gaming? If you read each specifiction it will tell you what it has to offer. I have the XFX 8600GTS XXX version. I think its the most expensive. Depends on your budget aswell.
 
Dont forget you need a PCi-express compatible motherboard. Make sure...
 
I'm guessing that Robs is an AGP board.

Need to let us know Ropb before we can find ya a card :)
