General Nothing but trouble :(

Oh dear we have had our Multipla for just over a year now. I don't know if anyone else has had as much trouble as we have. It is definately a Friday night special.

First we had a problem with a metal bracket physically leaving the brake pedal depressed. Then something to do with the suspension, and handbrake cables, next the arm that holds the shock absorbers sheared off. MOT came around and that cost £650 to get through, and a week after that we find the gear selector has sheared off, Fiat have no idea how that has happened and now our gearbox is going to a specialist and yet another £400-600 bill!!

Cant wait to get it back so we can get rid of it. Lost all faith in our vehicle, has anyone else had any problems like this?

can't be much left to go wrong now. why sell it after spending so much money to get it right and let someone else have the benefit?

I've had mine for two years. 2000 105JTD bought with 101K miles. Covered 21K since buying the thing.
Went to southern Spain in it last summer, picked up friends in Paris. Car fully loaded+ massive box on roof. Aircon on most of the time - 4500 miles in three weeks without a problem.
Best car I had, love it to bits.

Sounds strange all the greif you are getting from yours, perhaps you need a garage that has a more preventative look at the car, advising to replace things before they catch you out.
