Tuning Not selecting gears

Hi we have a 500 abarth automatic that isn’t selecting gears.it makes a very strange noise when selecting revers,it tries to select 1st gear it then just selected 2nd gear but would not drive forwards.it selected reverse occasionally but then went in with a thud and then stalled the engine.
Help would be much appreciated

Could be anything from clutchplate to selespeed pump and or a leak in the hydraulic system.

Look in the normal 500 section for the one and only dualogic thread(s) MTA = Dualogic/selespeed.

Hi thanks for your response
There doesn’t seem to be any leaks.
It some times engages reverse but the car then stalls like it’s slammed into revers.
If you try to put it into 1st it surges very slightly forwards .it like it’s stuck in reverse gear.
