Are we doing just one night? We'll all have to get there early enough to setup the tents and have the BBQ.

I'm open to suggestions Hellcat though I can find out some good sites in the lakes from local contacts

On Ullswater there is Park Foot and Waterside House Farm. The camping facilities at Park Foot are a bit lacking though.
We went to a site at Coniston and I didn't like it. The ground was really rocky (bad for groundsheets and pegs) and they had barriers and really strict rules. Waterside farm is much less formal. General rules are quiet after 10:30 and no open fires.

Just the tent. I already had 3 passengers and a front bumper in the car. Bought a baby sleeping bag and a travel cot/tent from the other shop.
James loves his little tent and sleeping bag. Not had chance to try the big tent yet.
