Reaching out to the forum to anyone who has personal experience of camping at the FOS. I have booked for the first time this year but I have a small problem. Camping opens on the Wednesday before the weekend but my son cannot get there with me until the thursday, as he has a daft physics exam. So my questions, if anyone knows, are:-
1. Will we still get a decent pitch if we go together on the Thursday? It's main camping non-electric, not the family camping.
2. If I go on the Wednesday to bagsee a pitch can I realistically expect to get out again to collect him on the Thursday and keep the pitch? I'm guessing there will be friendly like minded people around but there might be some competition for the space.
3. If I go on my motorbike and he follows by car will Goodwood let me park a bike and a small car on our plot? I guess I should ask them but I'm after insider knowledge, rather than the official line, if you know what I mean.

Cheers All

Why not volunteer as a marshal and get to camp for free. I have no idea about the general camping, but the event camping is quite free and easy as long as you have the right passes.
