What's going on here, two of our most accomplished Panda fixers can't get an already reasonably sound car on the road within two months..?
There must be more to this story - concours detailing, V8 transplant, roof replacement and turbo install?

What a lovely day out day!
Morning was much milder than yesterday, with a light showers while still at cost, in early afternoon the sky went back to clear blue.
Used Black panda and foots today, did not found the reg plate.
Really spectacular lane was identified round Glaisdale but there is one problem 2,5ft deep ford.
Wasn't sure how accurate the readings are as local farmers could fiddle it to mislead few people. So it was planned to go back there with crocks on and towel to 'manually' wad in. Found one crappy video of bespoken ford being crossed in Jimny showing just over 3ft deep on the gauge. Jimny isn't massive 4x4 but can't judge fron those photos what wheel size and lift kit he was fitted with - it's a no go i'm afraid.

And after the infamous 'Masham Lakes' weekend I'm not bothered about deep water because I think it does harder to fix damage than bouncing off rocks does.

Much better footage here, water level seems to be lower than 2ft.
Results - rainfall will be monitored in this area, June should be dry , 1ft deep is my safe maximum figure. Will check the level figures for Glaisdale and report back.
Andy B. - later in the clip - is it Rudland Ri#gg North end going down?
If the LWB Std Wrangler with bicycles strapped to the back can do it, why should we not try...

Above Esk river ford is off list without any discussion.

Route palning has started, number of lanes still needs to confirmed but the rough sketch is there.
Friday midday start / meeting point changed from Pickering to White Horse car park near Sutton Bank, which is closer to A1.

SE5282-01 Starts at Scawling Wood, pass by Scotch Corner ( not the A1 one) towards Shaw's Gate and A170Andy, according to FB Yorkshire Glass page just before Eastern it was mentioned and informed that NYNP Rangers cleared all fallen trees and lane is back open.
Planned for real life check soon.
Have you been thinking about the Hambleton Hill one?

I found a travelodge about 30 min away from location kolza mentioned, was £48 for the night for a twin room, if you want to go halfs?

Blue - tarmac,
Purple - still tbc,
Friday - from White Horse towards Runswick bay via North-West area,
Sat - South and East,
Sun - North and Centre.
Saturday's one is the longest one, as you can see they are close-by so if necessary some can be omitted.

Can go splits if yo want? Will only be Saturday night for me. Was gonna book a pod but needs to be minimum 2 nights on a weekend booking.
We're booked in at the Runswick Bay campsite (campervan). Thanks J for all the organising. Really looking forward to it. David
