This is the last fookin' thing I need...

Rear engine mount bolthead has stripped, turns out after hours (And I DO mean HOURS) of consideration that I was actually tightening it rather that loosening it[)]:I.

Any good ideas how I can remove it? Im going to try an smash a 16mm socket onto it (It was a 17mm drive) and try and drive that...but that isnt really proving successful! Im going to get hold of a bolt remover (Works on same principle - smash onto bolt) tomorrow, But i'm looking to get the TX out tonight...got enough to do on it anyway!!

Any Ideas?

You seen the engine mount bolthole?

Can't get nowt in there but a socket....

Well its alright in a manner of speaking...

Tried an impact wrench on it but it refused to budge, tried long drive bar but stripped more. I ended up hitting the two other bolts (smaller ones) that hold the Engine mount to the car with the impact job, and managed to get them out easily. So the old bolt is still on the mount, And its ridiculously tight.

Im just joing to stick it in a vice and try and undo the nut. Failing that, I'll just saw through the bolt and replace both of them..

Gearbox is finally out (After 20hrs solid!!) and old clutch is off!!!So Im happy about that :D:D:D
