General Noisy engine

When I picked car up from garage he checked all levels and it needed a bit of oil and he put about a litre of 10w40 in I'm guessing that's the wrong grade?

Totally, 5w-30
Or 5-40 at a stretch,
Engine flush then put this in

It's good for our exhaust filtery bits

Use a good engine flush, replace with Mobil 1. ESP oil, then put in WURTH CR fuel treatment,
But it sounds like top end is getting lazy due to oil getting dirty or wrong grade.

My wife works for Wurth so all I hear is the gospel according to.... But apparently the fuel conditioners really do work.

Going to look at getting some injector cleaner and fuel system cleaner,

An engine flush (I believe) is when you do an oil change to cheap oil for about 500 miles. And then oil change again to a top quality oil. The cheap oil basically swills around the engine collecting all the crap.

Add this follow instructions and then drain

"Application:
Before changing the oil, ensure the oil level is within the normal operating range and the engine is warm. Add contents and run engine for 10 minutes, then immediately change oil and filter."

Oh nice one, would save buying oil twice to only use one lot for 500 miles haha, looks like my weekend off will be busy cheers guys for all your advice
