noise when breaking....

hi when goign at speeds of 30 upwards

then gradually slowing, if i hit the brake hard enough i hear a winding noise??

is htis ok??

nothing to be alerted for??

please advise of possiblities it coudl be and a price for it as well..

car is runnign fine but it is a loud winding noise similar to a turbine lol

Are they actually any better than standard brakes discs?

a GOOD set of grooved disks (such as the Ferrodo) ones, will slightly reduce break fade if you do drive and brake that hard, however they are not masivley more affective than standard brakes
