General noise under bonnet

Hi all, have had a couple of isolated instances of a rattley/grating type sound from what appears to be right hand side of engine (from drivers point of view) lasts about 10 seconds and on both occaisions when stationary. Can't tell when moving and runs absolutley fine. 57,ooo on the clock.Any ideas?

Is it the 16v multijet?

I get a similar noise on one of mine. it's the bonnet stay rattling on landing panel.

Does noise stop when you depress the clutch?
