Hello ... I'm driving Stilo1.9 jtd, 2003 age, and most recently at greater speed in the 4 and 5 speed, there is a noise coming from the rear wheel or i think so ... not the engine ... the noise I had never heard .... As for the engine power, there is no difference, as before ... if anyone has an idea what it could be?? that there may have to do with the turbine?? thanks

Can you describe the noise? Most noises from the rear are either: brake related (a stone stuck between the disc and dust shield is not uncommon); rear wheel bearing on the way out; or a faulty tyre.

As the Stilo is front wheel drive, a noise from the rear is unlikley to be anything to do with the engine.

Uf,how to explain the sound .. for example, just as if someone has a friction wheel and is therefore at greater speed and higher noise ... that it might not do with disks? They are old,i have to change them on next service... or perhaps Lagers?...rear wheel bearing on the way out...i dont realy understand what you wanted to say....:)

Hi
Probably a wheel bearing needs changing, but check the hand brake cable is not touching the inside of the tyre.
I very nearly changed a wheel bearing and only noticed the handbrake cable was rubbing because the inside of the tyre was completely smooth (no markings or lettering) on it.
