tilt the rear seat's forward and then realy slam them back into position i got a rattle from the back seat and although the seat was solid and looked to be in place properly a good hard slam stopped it rattling and proved the latch's wern't actually engaged on 1 side,

You could also try giving the latch a good push into the locked position once the seat is back and lock - just incase the latch is stiff and not returning to the locked position.

Cars do rattle, just accept it (or buy a Jag instead)!

Sorry for being off.... Well... my ex-boss who bought a brand new Jag around 2000 (I do not know which type was exactly) had soooo many problems with it, it did not rattle, but problems with the over computerised system, that after the 3rd or 4th service he angrily wrote a letter to the headquarters that his wife's Punto is so reliable that they should have considered as it an example to follow them :D

So, I keep my little Italian lover (y)

I think one of the other members had a door rattle and it was a small pin that goes through the door handle on the inside that wasnt pushed in far enough... i think it was quite easy to sort. Instructions were on a thread on here somewhere, I think it was Mark Elvin who had/solved the problem. :D

I think that I will mention it at the service since I am unable to fix anything in a car. And as an ad let me tell you that when I first opened the boot there was a screw rolling all around inside. Now I do not hear its sound so it has been "evaporated" or seized somewhere.

Never buy a car made on Monday or Friday, go for the Wednesday's one! :D
