Technical no spark in electronic ignition

Hi This is my first time on the forum,and hopefully someone can help?!!
My little fiat Brava 1.4s was happily driving down the street when all of a sudden it jerked forward stalled and wouldnt start it sounded as tho it was turning over but just wouldnt start. I called the Rac and they he said there was no spark in the electronic ignition.I spoke to a gent today and he told me to try the reset button under the seat? where is the reset button? I would really appreciate some advice if anyone has any

I've heard of older models having the Hershie(?) Switch right near to the passanger seat. Its basically a switch that cuts off the fuel supply to the engine, was anyone sat in the passanger seat when it happened?

sounds like it could the crank sensor. if faulty wont tell coil pack its time to fire. it senses tdc on the crank and if faulty or dirty wont work. hence no spark at plugs . could also be coil pack.
