General No rear lights

Need help with my 2003 multipla jtd. I did check dash fuses and they seems are fine. I already changed bulb too but still no joy.

Weird thing is when i pressed the brake pedal i can see the light. Hmm.

Where else should i look?

You have lost an earth connection in all probability..

Have a look for a black cable on a stud to the bodywork.

Where should i look this black cable ? Is it on dash or rear cluster connector?

The connection is BOLTED to the bodywork.

Often found after removing carpet.. or rear lights .
