:bang:hey guys wonder if any of you can help i have a ulysse diesel and it has no power feels like the turbo is not working, i borrowed a code reader and it gave me P0243 andP0246 any body tell me what they mean and how to fix it!!! thanks

P0243 = Turbo/Supercharger Wastegate Solenoid A
P0246 = Turbo/Supercharger Wastegate Solenoid A High

I've never messed or had to fix turbo related problems but if the above codes would suggest that the Wastegate Solenoid could be the problem. The 'high' would imply high or open circuit impedance.

If the solenoid were stuck open then you would have no or little turbo boost pressure.

I believe that some wastegate valves can be manually operated, i.e. one can check that they are free to move and not stiffed or otherwise jammed. No doubt the solenoid directly attaches / drives the wastegate valve so you will have to work out the "cause and effect" relationships during inspection.

check the wiring to the solenoid and the solenoid itself, you should have 12V (battery voltage) at one of the pins.
the resistance of the solenoid is 15 ohms.
if this checks out you may have an open circuit back to the ECU.

there should be a small pipe coming from the turbo compressor housing to the solenoid, and then back to the wastegate actuator. you could check the solenoid valve is working by applying 12V directly to the solenoid (disconnected from the ECU of course, with engine idling) and watching the wastegate arm move open and closed. should be simple really.
