I had to unplug my amp and sub this weekend to fit all the crap and beer in the car!

When I unplugged it there was a spark from the live cable, thought nothing of it.

Anyway.... when I plugged it back in I have now got no power what so ever!

Have I blown the fuse?? What else could be wrong? How do I check, etc?

Cheers for any ideas!

First think to check is your fuses. Check the fuse in the power cable to your amp and the fuses actually in your amp. You will prob find that one of these have blown.

Infuture - disconnect the battery earth BEFORE unwiring amp :)

Yer, learnt the hard way there, doh!!:I

There's a fuse in the cable?? (at the risk of sounding very stupid) How do I check that?

it might be under the bonnet attached to the amp power cable, right near the battery. Take the fuse out, with -ve battery termainal off, ul know if it has blown- metal element cracked/slightly burned plastic.....fit a new one of the same colour/value

EVERYONE- SPRAY YOUR PUNTOS BLACK

It should be less than 50cm away from your battery. If you aint got a fuse in there you NEED one. Very dangerous to power your amp from your battery without one.
