Technical no give when accelerating

Had my fiat bravo 1.4sx 12v car for about 2 months and its been nothing but trouble. After having m.o.t and service now it seems to not move very quickly when accelerating and revs are really high. anybody know anything. im pissed.

clutch sliping ? in need of a new clutch.
if rev are high. eg drive down the road put the car in a high gear and push the throttle down if the rev's go up and little or no speed new clutch.
