Ok, let's get some facts:
What year is your Uno?
Does it have SPI or Carburetor?
WHEN did the problem occur (i.e.) at night/ daytime/ ever since it's got cold or wet?
Does your airbox have the metal foil pipe connecting it to the exhaust manifold?
Are your spark plugs getting wet when you try and start the car? Can you smell petrol in this situation?
If your Uno is SPI, then it sounds most likely to be fuel starvation. Either your fuel pump has failed or you have a blockage somewhere. This will be confirmed if your spark plugs are dry even though you've continually tried starting the car.
If your Uno is carburetor fed, and this problem has occured in the past week ever since we've had some cold snaps then it could well be carburetor icing. Conditions at night are just perfect at the moment for freezing up a carburetor and causing the symptoms you describe. Thing is, carb icing will go away once the car is brought to a stop and the heatsoak from engine warms the carburetor enough to melt any ice blocking the jets. It will then come back once the car is driven again!
A bit more info. and we should be able to narrow down the problem for you.
