Technical No ASR button

A year on but thought I’d update this. One finally came up on eBay this week. £30 delivered and guaranteed for 3 months. Replaced the fuse so I now have all dash lights working, plugged in the ‘new’ ASR switch and all working as it should.

Thanks truckcab79... which fuse is for the switch lighting ? In case someone else has similar problem.
Cheers

Hi All

I have a Fiat Doblo cargo Professional 2015. Bought it last September and really happy with it (ignoring the new turbo it cost me)

All good until this morning when I caught out on a hill that in any other vehicle I’d have probably got away with by switching off the ASR. ASR activated and of course I lost anything approaching traction and got stuck sideways across the road.

I have a light on the dash (car with wiggly lines behind it), and between the seat an ASR off warning light. However I appear to have absolutely no way of turning it off when needed. I’ve never had a vehicle where you couldn’t switch it off and have always needed to at some point

Googled it and searched on here and can’t find any mention of anyone having the same issue. Checked the manual and it says that there should be a switch on the dash. In the location stated, all I have is a button to position the headlight angle down. Even pressed it to makes sure someone hadn’t swapped it out with a ‘spare’ switch and lo and behold it just adjust the headlights.

Can it be that I can’t turn it off?

Switch between the seats looks like it has a blanking plate above it as if maybe that’s were it should be situated. If that’s the case is there a way to swap the switch and retro-fit. Is the wiring there anyway even if switching it off is an optional extra?! Even the manual tells you it will be needed to be switched off in snowy conditions

Thanks in advance.
Yes I have exactly the same switch I can't figure it out either is it switchable it lights OK when ignition is switched on and goes off again

No I've never used it was just wondering what type of switch it was and how it worked
