nitrous and gearboxes...

I have a 1.4 12v bravo and i want it to be quicker so i was thinking about nitrous. I want to get a 50bhp jet and i was wondering if my engine would be able to take it. My gearbox could be a problem so i want to get a better one so i was wondering if anyone knew if any other gearboxes out of faster bravos would fit my car. Any advice would be welcome...

Out of interest because i also have a 1.4 which can get pretty sluggish at times ! how much would the nitrous be ?

I don't think ( don't quote me ) the gearbox would make a difference apart from changing the gearing ? 50bhp is not an extreme amount, and if anything it would be the engine that suffers more stress.

I went on the "wizards of nos" website and it would cost about £600 for the nitrous kit but that is unfitted so i have e-mailed them to find out how much fitting will be but they havent replied yet. as soon as they do i will let you know how much damage it will cause your wallet!
