Abs does NOT make you stop quicker. as i said, its an aid to keep a degree of steering control in an emergency stop.

You got a letter sent to ALL owners about a RARE, but POSSIBLE fault. It doesnt mean your car had that fault. Even if in the one in 50,000 chance it did, you still would have had that crash. It was in no way relevant to the circumstances that caused your accident.

it wasn't abs problems that caused it though, that is certain

it isn't spamming anyones thread, its a discussion thats evolved from a post made on it about your experiences of a car which is the same as Andys (the op). you warned him about a failure that you said may have caused an accident which i have since disproved. it's perfectly on topic.
