Hello.

Fiat uno 1,1 mia.
Car has an extremely heavy shudder when pulling off in first gear. However, when you pull off in second gear the shudder is almost non existent. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Check clutch pedal adjustment is not too slack.

Possible contamination of the clutch / wear or distorted clutch plate.

I have found adjustment can reduce this greatly. My Uno days are long gone but this was an issue I remember on our 45S
Hi there

I was planning to bleed the slave cylinder as this problem started after changing it

Thank you appreciate the feedback

let us know how it goes! best to try to get as much old fluid out of the system as possible! so you might have to top up the cylinder a few times!
It seems the problem was the gearbox mounting. The bolts were loose.
Haven't driven the car much but so far no shudder. I pray that was the solution.

The gearbox mounting broke. The shudder came back while driving n snap mounting gone.
New engine n gearbox mounting were done 2 days ago.
Something is causing the mountings to brake. Any ideas what could be the cause of the mounting braking?
