Punto (Mk2/2b) newbie

hey, just got new fiat punto (its old but new to me)
1.2 petrol 53 plate.
The speedo and fuel gauge dosnt work, no lights and no movement.
Clock and millage work and all other stuff seems to work.
Got told it could be the fuses but no idea which ones I would change to try, any one got any ideas

hi ive had alook and this is all ican find,

fuse is located inside car in fusebox above drivers knee,

Hi, thanks oldhammer, I changed fuse and everything working however I now have RED warning light which I know is the air bag light but there is and AMBER one which I have never seen before, is a seat with person rear facing with a few squiggly lines behind the head, got no idea what this is, any one any ideas?
Could it be something to do with my seat which i just moved and it now wont click back and stay??

glad to hear you Managed to get everything working,

Right the yellow airbag light, try opening passenger door have alook on door pillar you will see key lock put your ignition key in there and turn it,

close door and put key in ignition and switch it on see if light goes out,

you might need to have car plugged in for Diagnostic,

hi, atom0007, was actually thinking that today, so i wouldnt see the airbag warning light. If i did would not have bought it.
oldhammer thanks again I have done this, its the airbag thing so you can put baby car seat in passenger seat... but red airbag light still on, will take to garage coz av got no idea on how to fix that.

Hi, if the punto has got side airbags in seat's.

id ask who ever you give the Job too to check the connectors under the seat's.
Reason why?

two door cars suffer here, seats getting moved back/lifted up overtime to let passenger in the back create's bad connections here,

Its best to ask them to check these,incase they just reset everything and fault comes back a few days/weeks later, and then you end up paying for there service again, not good if this happen's.

someone on on here in your area might be able to help here, afew people on the forum have access to a laptop with the software and lead

its certainly worth an ask,

forgot to add:

you need to have agood look over this seat and see whats in its way,
have alook under base of seat and see if any wire's. if fitted are hanging down,

careful here with seats as theres sharp edges and finger traps in places,!

where are you cos this is easy reset, maybe someone local can reset for you
