Hello...

I acquired a 1978 Fiat 124 back in 2020...We (my kids and I) have been restoring the car when we have time....we are getting close. I had the engine rebuilt, the carburetor rebuilt, and have replaced a bunch of parts....it getting close to go time....

I do have some questions, and I will search out the forum, but if anyone can point me in the right direction, it would truly be appreciated.

I was looking for an air pump to replace the deteriorated one currently on it....i asked around and everyone told me to remove it and its associated components....that I and my Fiat would be happier...in doing so, there are some items I need help with....if anyone has done this, what have you used to plug the holes where air components were attached to the engine?

Thanks
Jeffrey

On my 79 , I plugged the 2 large fittings at the top of the intake by using the nuts screwed in to the intake itself, and filling them with jb marine weld, (off the car) painting them black, and screwing them back in.
