Hi All,

Currently awaiting my 500S 1.2, Electroclash Grey, 16" alloys, full sports pack and Hi-Fi System with 100W subwoofer :D (I'm used to a car with a sony sound system so panicking it wont have a decent stereo system!).

Cannot wait to get my hands on the baby! Order was placed in June 24th and it has been a very very long wait. Expecting it tail end of next week or the week after.

How do other people on the board find their 500S'?

I've ordered one too- 'mid september' is my lead time. What car did you have previously?

Previously I was driving an Astra but hated it! Have been sharing my husbands car for the last few months which is a Prius (not the sexiest car but very pleasant to drive).

hi loving Mrs Matt's 500S. Little fellow ordered March and delivered early May. Groove Metal Grey. It felt a long time so understand the torment. Def worth the wait though. You won't be disappointed.(y)

Hi - being 100% honest I'm not really sure! Its 'sports kit - 500 s'. The car has come with so much and I am a novice at 'car speak' so below is both standard spec and factory fitted (I requested!):

Standard - 1 passenger grab handle, ABS/EBD, Auxilliary 12V power socket, Blue & Me with USB port, Body colour bumpers, Chrome door handles, Dark tinted windows, Driver and passenger airbags, Drivers knee airbag, Dualdrive PAS, Electric adjustable heated door mirrors, Electric front windows, Front passenger underseat box, Heat insulated glass, Heated rear windows with wash wipe, Isofix child seat preparation, Locking fuel filler cap, MP3 compatible radio/single CD player, Remote central locking, Seatback pockets, Space saver spare wheel, Split folding rear seat with headrests, Sport steering wheel with audio controls, Sports kit - 500 S, Window airbags.

Factory fitted (addition request) - Metallic - Electroclash Grey, Hi-Fi System with 100W subwoofer, 16 alloy wheels, Body colour door mirrors, Air conditioning, Cloth - Black with red stitching.

She was due into the dealer on Thursday but alas she is late and the due date has been changed to today....they just seem to keep pushing it back (n)

Great little car, quite nippy for the size, picked my wife's up on sunday. you will love it.(y)

isnt the sports kit just the fact that it has sideskirts, different bumpers and a spoiler? does make it stand out more :)

Yes it is a quokka....

Still waiting on the car. Was due in the dealership last Thursday but delayed (again!) the waiting is killing me!!

Yes it is a quokka....

The Quokka weighs 2.5 to 5 kilograms (5.5 to 11 lb) and is 40 to 90 centimetres (16 to 35 in) long with a 25 to 30 centimetres (9.8 to 12 in)-long tail, which is fairly short for a macropod. It has a stocky build, rounded ears, and a short, broad head. Although looking rather like a very small, dumpy kangaroo, it can climb small trees and shrubs. Its coarse fur is a grizzled brown colour, fading to buff underneath.
The quokka has no fear of humans and it is common for it to approach them closely, particularly on Rottnest Island. It is, however, illegal for members of the public on Rottnest Island to handle the animals in any way. An infringement notice carrying a A$300 fine can be issued by the Rottnest Island Authority for such behaviour. In addition, prosecution of the offense can result in a fine of up to A$2,000.

Car will be delivered to my front door 24th September :slayer:

Its been a long long wait!
