Newbie with a problem lol

Hello all I'm new to here never owned a fiat before I bought the wife a bravo and to be honest it's a great little car only had it for 3 weeks now it's a 1997 r reg 1.4 12 valve right now for the problem my wife was on way home fro
work today and it just cut out so I went to get her and see what the problem was done some simple checks and it dosent seem to be getting fuel have they got dodgey fuel pump in them that just likes to pack in suddenly or is it more likely to be a blocked fuel line ?

relay perhaps? can you hear it whine when you turn ignition on?

No well I couldn't hear anything it was on a busy road at the time couldn't really hear much will check tomorrow.how hard is it to get the petrol tank off to get to the fuel pump I know when I replaced the fuel tank on my vectra I had to take off the back box and center section and was a pain to get back on lol

Could be the relay mate,unsure where it is thn my old s1 turbo it was in fusebox right at top (but thats an old car lol) might not be the pump,.Read this thread:

Could even be faulty or goosed fuel cut off switch?
Just a thought as ive just read that post lol

Thanks guys you been a great help I've always had vauxhalls so know them a lot better lol but the fiat has been a good buy so far was very plesently suprised with it better fuel econamy than my vectra gsi and with the price of petrol just now I'm using the fiat a lot myself lol are there any cheap and easy mods can be done to the engines to get a bit more power tho as it's only a 1.4 lol

from what ive read,1.4's are the worst engines lol but i wouldnt know lol
Normal mods i suppose,stainless exhaust and induction kit with good cold air feed
