Actually it's a petrol.

ByDiesel refers to the trim level, not the fuel type.

Monumentally stupid, if you ask me - it's just inviting a misfuelling incident.

Serious question, can you ram a diesel pump into a modern petrol car these days and vice versa? I thought the garages had changed the pump dispensers so this type of thing didn't happen? But then I guess it still does happen. :bang:

It's not easy to get a diesel nozzle into a modern petrol car (though some idiots still manage to dribble the fuel in), but there's nothing to stop you putting a petrol nozzle into a diesel.

The AA reckon there are 150,000 misfuelling incidents a year in the UK - a staggering figure.

jrkitching is right. It is a petrol car. When I saw it advertised, I too initially thought it was a diesel car.


Luckily for me it has a big 'unleaded only' warning on the fuel cap
